It's disappointing that the order of the three movements is different in this performance from what Debussy stipulated. What was the purpose of placing "Iberia" last instead of second? The "Rondes de printemps" makes for a much more satisfying conclusion -- just as Debussy intended.
I disagree on the satisfying conclusion. Iberia's ending is more brillant while Rondes de printemps' one is more abrupt and unexpected, and it doesn't have trombones in the orchestration, which takes out some strength in my opinion.
